Bosch first started in Vietnam in 1994. Until now, Bosch is biggest German investor in Vietnam, employed over 6,000 associates with office in HCMC, Hanoi and Da Nang. It also has a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture components in automobiles. Bosch VN operates a software center with nearly 3,600 software engineers in Hanoi and HCMC, named Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam, and an automotive R&D center for mobility solutions in HCMC. Bosch Vietnam has diversified businesses: Two-Wheeler and Powersports, Home Appliances, Automotive Original Equipment, Power Tools, Drive and Control, Building Technologies and Thermotechnology.
